The Hafer Family/ Douglassville Family Photography

I fear I am falling behind in sharing all of the wonderful family sessions I've had the pleasure to photograph over the past couple of months.  Tis the portrait season and it's getting crazy, but I'm hoping to get back on track blogging about the amazing people that I've been spending time with.

Like the Hafer family!

Anyone who knows Amy knows how amazing this woman is.  She is a blessing to all those around her, especially her 3 beautiful kids!  We finally made a date to capture some family portraits before the start of school this year and it was a blast!

Here are a few favorites from our session:

I'm hoping this is not my last portrait session with this awesome family!   We had a great time shooting, but then spent time afterwards just talking and connecting and I enjoyed that time so much.  What wonderful kids!  What a testimony to what a wonderful mom Amy is.

The Kirk Family: Pottstown Family Photography

What a wonderful reason for a portrait session!

Mr. and Mrs. Kirk celebrated 50 years of wedded bliss this summer and their sons (well, their sons' wives- let's be honest!) put together this portrait session for them.  The family was all together to celebrate, and we were all set to enjoy the beauty of The Hill School campus and create some wonderful memories.  

Then the rains came.  And it poured for just one hour- the hour of our session.

But I would imagine that in 50 years of marriage, a little rain must fall, and that one of the secrets to making it 50 years together is by working through the storms.  And so we did.

We found a nice covered area on campus and got some great stuff.

You can hardly even tell it was pouring all around us.

Here are a few favorites of Mr. and Mrs. Kirk, sons Dell and Jim along with their wives, Theresa and Lynda, and their five grandchildren.

Happy Anniversary, Dell and Eleanor!

Fifty years is certainly something to celebrate!

JLP Top Model Shoot/ Philadelphia Photography

This year brought something new to the JLP Senior Program.  All of my seniors earned points throughout the year, competing for the title of "Top Model".  They racked up these points by sharing images, bringing their friends in, and being the voices and faces of Jen Lebo Photography.  Points earned awesome rewards, and the coveted "Top Model" earned a trip with two runners up for a special photo shoot in Philadelphia, complete with hair and make up by the amazing ladies at Gwendolynn's Salon & Spa.

By summer's end, Cayla had run away with the title, earning almost as much as the rest of the JLP Seniors combined!  So last month I took her and runners up, Jessica and Rachel (along with Jessica's mom, who was a fantastic help and a lot of fun!) down into the city.  It was super hot and humid, but the girls looked amazing and we had a blast!

And to make it even better, Cayla also earned herself the cover of the very first issue of JLP Seniors Magazine!  Coming out by the end of this month, both in print and digitally, this magazine features all of 2013's JLP Seniors, with specials on the top five models.

The Seeleys/ Royersford Family Photography

Last month I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing Laurie and Brent, along with their two beautiful daughters.  Laurie and I had talked about this for a long time and we had such a great time.  The family looked wonderful in their beautiful blues and we enjoyed an evening of portraits at The Hill School.  The girls had a blast and Brent was a great sport!  Anything for his girls, right?

Laurie, this session was so worth the wait, don't you think?  You all did wonderfully and I'm so excited about what we were able to capture that evening.  The girls are growing older (and more beautiful) by the minute and I'm so glad we were able to stop time for just a moment this summer.
