Johna and Steve: An Engagement Session

I am not a city girl at all, but this trip into Philadelphia to shoot Johna and Steve's engagement photos was definitely one of the best times I've ever had with my camera! The locations they chose were beautiful (even with all the runners doing the stairs at the Art Museum like Rocky!) and they were totally relaxed and enjoying their time together. It was wonderful!

Here are a few of my favorites from the session. It was a bit strange to me to keep asking them to kiss and be romantic, since I once coached and taught Johna (when she was in high school) and I'm sure she NEVER thought she'd hear her coach encouraging her to engage in PDA! Ah, how ironic!

I had such a wonderful time with these two and loved meeting Steve. He seems so smitten with his wife-to-be, which I loved to see! A great guy for sure- though I worry that he might be bringing a certain duck home as the family pet some time soon (see above- he insisted on getting the duck in the shot! Got it, Steve!)
