God has blessed me threefold in my life. First, I grew up with a mother who made me feel loved and cherished every single day of my life. She was (and is) the most caring and wonderful mom I could have ever asked for. Then I married my husband and gained a mother-in-law who treats me like her very own. She is kind and generous and offers her love, support, and encouragement to me on a daily basis. I am very lucky to have her (and her son!). And then finally, God blessed me with the three most amazing kids EVER! There is absolutely nothing on earth as challenging and rewarding as being their mom. And there is nothing as beautiful as their little faces.
And so, of course, Mother's Day is very special to me. And probably to you too. Maybe you're a mom yourself, or maybe your mom has been a special blessing in your life. Maybe you're married to a special mom, or maybe you just know one. No matter what though, we've all been touched by special moms.
And so, this Mother's Day, Jen Lebo Photography is giving away a mini-session to one lucky mom!
The winner will receive:
- A complimentary mini-session (30 minutes) at the location of your choice for up to 5 people!

When I grow up I want to be a mom!
The best thing? Oh...that's a hard one. There are so many! Recently, Ellie asked if she could get her hair painted gold. I asked her why and she said, "Because I want it to be beautiful, just like your hair, Mom." Melt my heart!!
Kim that's AWESOME! That's a keeper (the quote and the daughter!)
Anonymous- is that your comment or the best thing your child said? If it's a contest entry, send me your name so I can include you! :)
Well, since Gavin is only 8 months old, he hasn't said much of anything yet. But his smile melts my heart, and after years of infertility, I feel blessed to be able to celebrate Mother's Day this year! :)
Recently, Max (3 1/2) said to me on a day where, at 37 weeks pregnant, I was not feeling my best -- "Mommy you are beautiful!" and then proceeded to give me a great big hug!

I "LIKE" Jen Lebo Photography on Facebook! And, I added the post/link to my FB page.
Loving these comments! Jen, that is so sweet. Max already knows when his momma needs him most! Sarah, with those adorable cheeks, I'd melt too!!! Got all the comments, fb links, etc accounted for! Thanks ladies!
Just liked you on FB. My four-year-old daughter says so many sweet things, and I really should write them down. One that I remember, "Mom, you're my best friend." She is definitely one of my best friends...she is more perceptive, loving and sensitive than many adults that I know!
My 5 yo Hayden asked me one night if I ate cupcakes while he was in my belly. I simply answered yes, probably Hayden. He then says 'thank you so much mom, that means every time you ate cupcakes they fell on my head and I ate them too! Yummy!'

I love how Boys love their Mommy. The other day I didnt have a chance to get a shower, so I just pulled my hair back into a very sloppiy ponytail. I went to pick up my 7 year old at school and as soon as he saw me he said, " why are you all dressed up and pretty?" Gotta love kids and their views on life!- Kelly
Love these comments! Thank God for our kiddos! Joelene (Anonymous) and Joy- you are the same right? Just want to make sure I have everyone counted correctly. And I see you are from Mayslanding, NJ- hoping you are here in the eastern PA area! Just making sure! :)
Kelly, boys are so precious! I have a 7 year old too, and I noticed on FB that we have common friends at CCS! Are your kids there too?
Thanks for sharing everyone! Love them!
Once when Camryn was about 3, she was helping me fold laundry. I took towels into the bathroom and she followed closely behind me stretching my undies out between her two outstretched hands. She said, "Mommy, why are your undies so big?" I said, "Well, I guess because Mommy's got a big butt." She immediately dropped the undies, walked behind me, and put her hands on either side of my bottom. She then said, "YUP, Mommy, you have a GREAT, big butt!" I am thankful that the emphasis was on GREAT!
Since food is so important to me and I spend lots of time planning meals and trying new recipes, I love it when Sadie comes into the kitchen and says "Oh it smells so good in here! Mommy's the best cooker ever!"
No, Joelene and I are different people.
Joy, got it. All cleared up! Thanks!
Nancy, laughed out loud! Love that Cam!!!
Donna, I am so sure I'd be saying that too being in your kitchen!!! Love that it's Sadie though! She's awesome! (btw... heard your kids are out for the count too- ugh! Us too!)
Just this morning I came downstairs after getting ready for work. After hearing Mike tell me that he thought I looked nice, Andrew (7 1/2) turns around and says: "Mom, you really do look great today!" That made my day! Andrew has also told me that he loves me so much that he wants to marry me so we can be together forever. :)
Love the contest idea! "Liked" and "Posted" on my facebook page. I don't tweet. :) Good luck!!
Got them all Denise! Thanks! Andrew needs to hang out with Scotty more, so maybe that will rub off on my boy!!! So cute!!!
Hi Jen,
I know I am family (Aunt Ellen) but I had to comment. This is great and so are you! Your cousin Gerard was 4 years old when he got punished for not behaving in a restaurant. We left the restaurant without eating. When we got home he was sent to his room and when I went to check on him he was lying on the floor crying and saying" What's the matter with me, why can't I be good? And your cousin Kara wrote a little post-it-note and left it lying around in her room that said "The best "pepel" in the wold r mom dad gerard kara. She was about 4 also when she did that. I could go on and on because they have said so much in 27 and 25 years. I can't believe how fast it has gone. Thanks for making me remember some very special times. I also remember som great times with you and your brother....A-E-I-O-U!!!! is one of them. Remember? Love you and miss you
al1! P.S. I know I can't enter I just wanted to share this with you!
Aunt El, THANKS SO MUCH for making me laugh OUT LOUD over all 3 memories- I'll always remember A-E-I-O-UUUUU!!! Can't believe that little boy is getting married in just a couple of months!
And no, you cannot enter the contest because I'll photograph those gorgeous kids of yours for free ANY day! :) Love you guys!
Ian (9yrs old) is truly a "momma's boy" in all the best ways possible. If my husband tells me I'm wrong, Ian argues my case to prove that I'm right (even if I'm not). If someone teases me, Ian jumps to my defense. If I'm sad, he gives me a hug. If I need help, he's right there offering his assitance. He loves to help me cook and clean, simply because he knows he's helping me. I apparently make the best everything, because he says it is so. He has recently started opening my car door (the first time, he also tried to close it and realized he couldn't because he was still inside the van!). He's not embarrassed to give me hugs, even in front of his friends (multiple times a day! - I hope it stays this way). His is truly the definition of unconditional love. He looks far beyond all the flaws and mistakes I have made as a parent. Even when I have raised my voice to him beyond what is reasonable or right, he still adores me and believes I can really do no wrong. Even I struggle to not have a critical thought about my children or husband when they have done something to irritate me or made a mistake. Ian once told my husband "I will ALWAYS love Mommy more than you!" And, in his own little ways, I believe he is right.
Wow, Melissa, that's so special. What a gift!!! This post and these comments has me realizing how lucky I am to be a mom! So glad I did this! Wow! (got your FB entry too!)
My son Aaron (3 years old) has a lot of food allergies, so for Easter this year I told him we would make Jello Eggs. We were at Target looking for the Jello egg mold and I couldn't find it. I said something about not being able to find them. Aaron put his hand on mine and said "It's ok Mommy. Just do your best. Do your best."
I posted a story, Liked! and posted on FB too.
Sarah, got ya! You're entered three times!
Thanks!
"Are those skinny jeans?" The best 4 words you could hear from a guy's mouth...even if he's only 7!!
This contest was such a cute idea!! I'm loving all the stories! I LOVE Melissa's "mama's boy"...very cute story. I think my boy would be just like that if he was human!! He is such a loyal dog! =] So I can't post what my kids 'say'... BUT they snuggle whenever I want and they don't talk back!!!! ^_^
(No fb or tweeting for me...but don't worry, I'm spreading the JEN LEBO love!!) =D
Valerie, got you three times. Laura, got you once! Thanks guys!
The best thing Scott ever said to me was, "Mom, Jen and I are getting married."
1) I liked you on Facebook.
2) I am going to blog about this at http://www.hammijammijewelry.blogspot.com
3) Funniest thing said by my son...this recent conversation comes to mind...we were talking about body parts, girls vs. boys etc. and Noah says, "Mom, I want to talk about the poop maker." It made me laugh so hard.
I hope I win :) You are amazing.

Carrie, got you in x4! It was great meeting you yesterday! We have got to connect sometime! Love your blog!
Mom, you are the best! I knew you would say that just because that's how good you always are to me. Love you! And love that son of yours too!!!
I posted on my profile with link attached! When I figure out how to suggest to friends ( since of course I am already a fan !!) I will do that also ! I will be sharing stories too once I have time to type them out. Thanks for the contest ! Love your photos !
My children are still young but my heart always melts when they say "I love you" and give me hugs and kisses. I love it! (and would love a photography session)
My then 2-year old told me one day "When I grow up, I want to be pretty like you!" :-)
I loove, love, love your pictures of Jocelyn's birthday party - they are amazing!
oh, and I liked you on FB and posted your link.
Liked your FB page and posted your link on my profile page.
My Marissa is the sweetest. She is always making me cards in school and tells me I'm the best Mom she has ever had (I'm the only Mom she has had :) Just last night she told me when climbing into bed that I was her hero b/c I make her awesome lunches everyday. She brings a smile to my face and makes being a mother worth it.
Justine, Amanda, and Vanessa- got you all! Thanks for sharing! Christine, same thing! Especially love your comment as that is what my daughter always says to me- You're the best mom I ever had! LOVE IT!
Jen- I also posted to my AVON FB page for you. Christine Urner - Independent Avon Representative.
Thanks!
My little girl said "Mom- I am the luckiest girl in the whole wide world". I asked her why and she said "because you are my momma"...sniff sniff..
Your photos are beautiful! Thanks for the contest!

Evan said he loved me all the way through the solar system and back (a la "How Much Do I Love You").
My daughter is only 22 months, but when says Mommy I love you, I just melt!
Liked on FB
Stephanie, that is SO Evan!!! Love it! Got you entered 3 times. Meredith, thanks for the comment and like- got you in twice. My son is 20 months and I can't wait for him to say he loves me. Right now it's "Muh Mom!" Ha!
Linked on Facebook and Tweeted :) Caroline had about 20 words that preceeded 'mama' 3 weeks ago so that one is still pretty sweet. Something pretty amazing about them speaking that word about you!
Jen you are a genius! Every business decision you make is a slam dunk! What FANTASTIC traffic and awareness you are getting out of this!!! Great job once again!
Ok, so onto my response. Been thinking about this one for a few days. Josh is serious... and sweet.. all the time. But with Jack nothing is serious and his tender moments are few and far between... so that leaves me with a quote by him. :)
"Mom, I love you more than toasters, hangers, and mailboxes." ~Jackson Bala, age 3
Ok, I answered the question.
Tweeted the contest and linked the tweet to your website.
Tweeted a message for others to follow @jenlebophoto on twitter.
Posted Contest on FB profile.
And… of course I already “like” your page! So I posted it to my profile and wall and told everyone to like you as well. :)
I liked you on fb from Katie Bala's suggestion. The best thing my daughter has ever said "I never want to grow up and get married because I want to live with you forever!". As for my son, he can't say much yet but a "mommy" and a big hug will do just fine. :)
