Recently I read a blog post that got me thinking. Titled "3 Simple Joys", the post expressed a few of the blessings in the writer's life. I loved it and want to do the same here. It's far too easy to get overwhelmed with the chaos and "busyness" of life and forget the many blessings, big and small. My hope is that by posting regularly here about 3 simple blessings in my life, I will remind myself (and maybe others) of all there is to be thankful for.
For today, my 3 simple blessings are:
1. An amazing husband who loves me despite our MLB rivalry!
2. Three beautiful children who let me chase them with my camera all day long!
3. The imminent promise of school days, routine, and order! I will miss my babies to be sure, but I will enjoy the routine again!
I challenge you today to think of 3 simple joys in your life, and as always, encourage you to share them with me here. Comment below and let me know what blessings are on your heart today. And let's make it a regular date!
Be blessed!

Dear Jen,
My three joys are also manifested in my family. First is my wonderful husband of 45 years who supports me in all I do:) Second are the joys and love of three wonderful children, an amazing son-in-law, and two (soon to be three) fantastic grandchildren. And, third, is the health and happiness granted to me so I can enjoy all of them!! I can't limit this to three, though, as I would have to add the wonderful love and friendship from former colleagues and students near and far!
Love to all,
Anne
Thanks for this Jen, serves for a reminder when can be having a very bad day and nothing goes right!
3 simple joys in my life right now
1) visiting my family in Colorado because I live so far away in the land of Enchantment!
2) my fiancee and soon to be husband!
3) My ability to share my photography with anyone who will see it
p.s. when we will be seeing cawfee tawk again?
Great comments- wonderful joys in our lives ladies! Anne, no need to stop counting blessings! I'll be doing "3 Simple Joys" regularly so we can keep counting our blessings! Carmen, glad you asked about Cawfee Tawk! It's actually in the plan to start up again next week!
Three blessings:
1. My family, all of whom make me very proud.
2. My jobs which build my confidence.
