Her Story/ Rachel Carson: The Hill School Senior Photography
He looked at her differently all throughout dinner. This four year old of mine, who up until this moment had only had eyes for his momma. I could see the way he held on to her every word as she laughed with him and my two other kids. A sixth former (senior) at The Hill School and one of my 2014 JLP Seniors, Rachel had become quite close with our family and with our kids. All three of them loved her. But there was something different about the way my baby was watching her.
And then it came out.
"Rachel…" he said very slowly and calmly, "…you're so pretty."
The table erupted with laughter, and I beamed at my little man.
I may have lost him for a moment there, but I realized in that moment that my boy has got great taste!
Thank you, Rachel, for all the time and effort you put into being one of my 2014 JLP Seniors. I had so much fun photographing you this year, but even more so, I am so thankful that you opened up your heart to my kids.
To them, and to us, you will always be "our Rachel".

Her Story: Hayley Tomaselli / Pottsgrove Senior Portraits
A bit overcast, with a slight breeze in the autumn air. The perfect weather for the perfect senior portraits. And what better senior to have on such a day than Hayley, who, like the weather, was subtle and breezy, but oh so beautiful.
Hayley is about to enter her final season at Pottstgrove HS. May it be as beautiful and wonderful as she is.

In The Blink Of An Eye/ Florida Teen Photography
"Ooh, get a shot of me with this British flag, Aunt Jen, since I'm going to London this summer!" Wait. What? I was abruptly brought back to reality with that one statement. I had been reminiscing about the darling little girl who had once sung silly songs for me, danced around in shiny red boots, and called me "J" because she couldn't say Jen. And now here I was photographing this stunningly gorgeous teenager who was chatting about getting her license, seeing her boyfriend later on, and heading off to London in a few months.
Wait. What?
How did this happen?
The years sure have flown by, but what a precious and beautiful young lady has emerged from those little red boots. I can't wait to see what the future holds for you, sweet girl.

JLP Top Model Shoot/ Philadelphia Photography
This year brought something new to the JLP Senior Program. All of my seniors earned points throughout the year, competing for the title of "Top Model". They racked up these points by sharing images, bringing their friends in, and being the voices and faces of Jen Lebo Photography. Points earned awesome rewards, and the coveted "Top Model" earned a trip with two runners up for a special photo shoot in Philadelphia, complete with hair and make up by the amazing ladies at Gwendolynn's Salon & Spa.
By summer's end, Cayla had run away with the title, earning almost as much as the rest of the JLP Seniors combined! So last month I took her and runners up, Jessica and Rachel (along with Jessica's mom, who was a fantastic help and a lot of fun!) down into the city. It was super hot and humid, but the girls looked amazing and we had a blast!
Here are a few favorites from that day.
And to make it even better, Cayla also earned herself the cover of the very first issue of JLP Seniors Magazine! Coming out by the end of this month, both in print and digitally, this magazine features all of 2013's JLP Seniors, with specials on the top five models.

JLP Seniors: Summer Friend Sessions/ Pottstown High School Senior Photography
I have been busy having the BEST time this summer! I just spent the last month photographing all of my JLP Seniors and their best friends in gorgeous settings, with super fun concepts, and even some crazy tricks (because that's how the boys roll).
These friend sessions are part of what my JLP Seniors get and it's often one of their favorite perks! We have lots of laughs and create wonderful memories of them with their best friends, which they can all hold close forever.
Thanks to my awesome JLP Seniors for grabbing their friends for these fabulous sessions! Guys, you have got some awesome friends!!!
