Last month I offered a contest for Mother's Day. The lucky winner received a free mini session, framed gift print, and discount on her order. The results were awesome. Many of you wrote in telling great stories of the funny or sweet things your kids have said to you. You tweeted the contest, you announced it on Facebook, and you shared it with lots of friends. And last week, winning mom Stephanie and her family enjoyed that session almost as much as I did! (I'll be blogging on it this week).
So now it's Dad's turn!!!
This week Jen Lebo Photography is giving away a mini-session to one lucky Dad!
The winner will receive:
- A complimentary mini-session (30 minutes) at the location of your choice for up to 5 people!
- 10 edited images from which to choose!
- 1 8x10 custom framed portrait of your favorite image (great for Dad's office)!
- 10% off any other purchases from your session!

He brought home a new-to-us minivan for Mother's Day!!! He's also AMAZING for so many reasons that I can't even begin to explain but, since you know him, you know that already :-)
My step-father is my best dad! He is faithful, loyal, and simply a servant at heart...and he also thinks of the world of me! He taught me to drive. He plays with my kids. He loves my mom. What more can I ask for?
Hi Jen,
I posted the link on my facebook status! Yay!!
Kim and Lucy, got you both twice. ;) Thanks for sharing!
My husband is the best b/c he gets up with the kids 99.9% of the mornings and agreed to have four children with me when he would have been happy with two!
Words can't begin to explain why my husband is the best! He loves our sons and he loves me and that is more than I could ask for! What I really appreciate is how he truly enjoys playing with our 3 1/2 year old son and does the things I don't enjoy - especially playing in the snow!
Thanks Donna and Jen! Love your posts and have you entrered! :)
Jen -- I posted and shared on Facebook!
Check and check Jen! :) Thanks!
Hey Jen, it's Liz. Jesse's the best dad there is because he is so fulfilled by the job. He's great at a lot of things, but he was meant to be a dad.
Tweeted and linked to you on FB. Fingers crossed :)
Liz, I so agree!
Seeing Jesse w/C is truly seeing him happy!
Doug is the greatest dad! He is patient and kind and just enjoys being a fad. What I love best is that he doesn't take himself too seriously, has an awesome imagination, and laughs all the time. Ellie is very lucky.
whoops, I meant "dad" not fad. Ha!
FYI -I posted on my profile page about the contest and also became a fan of your facebook page.
Geoff is the best dad because his two little girls are his world. He rushes home from work at the end of the day and greets them with a huge bear hug and a kiss. He even keeps them up after bedtime some nights just so he can spend a little more time with them. With Geoff as their dad, the girls will never go a single day without knowing how incredibly much they are loved.
When Tracy first found out we were having a girl, his reaction was..."You've got to be kidding me! I can't do 'girl'." That changed the moment she was one minute old and was placed in his arms. He was 35 and had never held a baby. He said, "She's perfect." From that first moment, he's done 'girl' with his own personal touch. He has encouraged her, challenged her and taught her a quick wit. At 8 years old, Camryn loves rock climbing, hiking, getting muddy, goes on motorcycle rides, loves the drag races, helps change the oil in our car, and I am pretty sure she can rebuild a race motor too. She is a fearless daredevil and a speed demon. Doing all this with nails polished and hair flowing! Tracy has not realized it yet, but he has created the perfect 'cool' girlfriend for someone someday...and his own worst nightmare.
First of all can I just say that I LOVE Nancy's comment...hard to compete with that one!! I will say that Michael is the best dad & husband and relate it to today's activity. The 4 of us went fishing and he does ALL the work (baiting the hooks, untangling the lines, taking the fish off) and let's us have all the fun of fishing. Doesn't get any better than that! (Jen, I also shared your link on my page)
My husband is the best dad there is because I know he will always be faithful to me and our family so that our children will never have spend weekends away from one of us while they visit the other. He works harder than anyone I know to provide for us and puts God first, and us next. And he loves spending time with me and our children, and being a family.
Jen, I also joined Jen Lebo Photography on FB and posted your contest, and website link on my FB profile. I would have tweeted, but I don't know how!!!!! :)
Everyone is entered! Got you all, and thanks for letting me know about FB posts too! There sure are a lot of wonderful dads out there. Aren't we so blessed to have such great husbands?!
