Chelsey contacted me about this session last month when she began planning a gift for her mom for Mother's Day. She booked our session, having heard about a Mother's Day special I was running with Gwendolynn's Salon & Spa. She wanted family portraits of her and her brother to give to her mother.
I knew in an instant that this session would be wonderful because I knew right away that I was working with an awesome lady. Seriously? A college junior planning for her mother's gift a month in advance? And her younger brother, a senior at Spring-Ford High School, willingly joining her? I was so impressed!
And Chelsey and CJ did not disappoint! We met up at Valley Forge Park and found this little nook of a location that we all loved. They even brought their dog, Roxy, along to join in some of the portraits.
The warm evening light was perfect, and Chelsey and CJ were delightful! My only two complaints- CJ could not give me a serious expression, but kept flashing his handsome smile, and Chelsey was so pretty, I kept going back to wherever she was and overloaded my camera with her! Yeah, I know, tough day right?

Thanks for the great time Chelsey and CJ. I hope your mom loves the gift you put together for her. PLEASE tell her that I think she did an amazing job raising two beautiful children and that I'm sure she must be so proud. She surely is a mom who deserves such a beautiful and special gift this Mother's Day!
