Happy Day 19 of our Month of Photo Fun! I've got another super simple tip for you to keep in mind when shooting your portraits. Keep that camera up after you shoot, because often times, the second shot is the better shot.
When you first pose your subject or your subjects, everyone is more than likely a little stiff, a little nervous, and less themselves. So I like to shoot the traditional shot, and then have some fun and let them relax.
I keep shooting after they think I've gotten "the shot"and THAT'S when I get the real shot!
So take the traditional shot, of course...
... but then wait, and shoot some more, and catch them being a family, being happy, being real.
Because while we all enjoy the shots that are set up...
... it's often the ones we catch afterwards that we really love!
Be patient and keep shooting! Let me know what you catch in the "after shots".
I can't wait to hear from you!
