Welcome back to my 31 Days of Photo Fun! I hope you enjoyed my tip yesterday on The Rule of Thirds. Day 2 brings us another tip, this one geared at photographing little ones. Stoop to their level!
One of the simplest things you can do to improve your photos of the little ones in your life is to simply bend down and photograph them at their own level. Getting on their level gives you a much better view of their world, and it also gets them more connected with you. They'll look at you more (after all they're not looking up and possibly into the sun!), talk with you, and enjoy their time with you more, which means more authentic expressions.
Enjoy a few moments on the ground with your kids and you'll have better photos for it. And who knows what fun new connections you'll make as well!
Keep shooting!
